Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) invites applications for the position of Youth Development Professional. The Youth Development Professional is responsible for providing fun and engaging programming to youths aged 6-18. This is a part time position. We are currently looking for people to work day hours, Monday through Friday. This is a year round position. Working hours for this location during the school year will start between 2:00 pm and end around 6:30 pm.

This position is located at the Bethalto Club in Illinois

This is a part time position and the pay rate ranges from $11 to $16 hourly. I will be doing PHONE INTERVIEWS over the next two weeks.   • High school diploma required, Associates degree from accredited college or university or BA/BS preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working with children in a group setting, camp counselor experience a plus.
  • Enthusiasm and patience for working with children and passion about education, health, character development and leadership.
  • Must be a team player and a self-starter.
  • Ability to work well with diverse populations.
  • A high degree of independence, flexibility, self-motivation, and creativity.
  • Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications. We will provide this.
  • Ability to organize and supervise youth in a safe environment.
