Site Coordinator

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) invites applications for the position of Site Coordinator. The Site Coordinator is the day-to-day contact and operational manager for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis after-school and summer programming at school site responsible for managing site programs, activities, and services that prepare youth for success and that create a club environment that achieves predetermined program outcomes.


  • Ensure a healthy and safe environment, ensuring facilities, equipment and supplies are maintained and promptly reports all member incidents and injuries to Area Director.
  • Responsible for implementing the outputs and activities as prescribed by site programs, services and activities to ensure they meet stated objectives and member needs and interests.
  • Develops staff schedules and adjusts shifts/schedules according to fluctuations in program requirements.
  • Oversight and monitoring of program implementation by site managers through assessments and observation, identifying areas of strengths and weaknesses and report deficiencies to Area Director.
  • Tracks membership, attendance, and participation as well as completes site and organizational assessments to identify ways to improve the quality of the programs and site climate. Completes reports outlining results.
  • Utilizes designated outcome measurement tools to demonstrate individual member achievement and analyze program strength and weaknesses and completes reports outlining results.
  • Prepares check requests and purchase orders for supplies and materials needed for programming.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of six staff members as well as dozens of volunteers and regular evaluation of their performance.


  • Degree from accredited college or university in relevant field such as education, special education, psychology, child psychology, education administration, OR equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of five years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar not for profit organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years experience with KidTrax or similar database system.
  • A minimum of two years experience with measurement and outcomes / grants reporting.
  • Exercise creativity and mental flexibility in presenting instruction and programming to accommodate members of widely varying learning styles, intellectual levels, and abilities.
  • A minimum of two years work experience supervising and managing youth development professionals.
  • Ability to work well with diverse populations.
  • Basic computer skills a must, Microsoft Office programs a plus
